Six Pillars of Wellness

The Twelve Steps of AA

The Twelve Steps of AA

Prana Recovery Centers programs use the Twelve Steps of AA in the Big Book, the textbook of Alcoholics Anonymous. We focus specifically on The Doctor’s Opinion, Chapter Two, There Is A Solution and Chapter Three, More About Alcoholism.

These parts of the Big Book focus on the need for fellowship (sangha/community); the mental & physical aspects of addiction; the allergy as defined by AA; mental change; spiritual experience; relapse prevention; and service to others.

Life-Saving Services

Prana Recovery Centers relies on donations from individuals and organizations in order to provide life-saving services to recovering addicts and alcoholics. We are focused on helping them maintain sobriety in the long term, and we work diligently to provide them with the physical materials and mental ‘tools’ that will help them get to the next day, and the next day, and the next, and so on.

With your support, recovering addicts and alcoholics learn to live joyful and productive lives. To learn more, read compelling stories of recovery.
