Prana Recovery Centers offers a community-based revolutionary Relapse Prevention Program (RPP) in Marlborough, MA based on our six pillars of wellness for people with a substance use disorder that have completed a detoxification treatment program.
The Relapse Prevention Program can also be tailored to meet the needs of corporations, work-settings, half-way houses, sober homes, and other community based programs.
Services are provided to all individuals seeking help who are eligible as noted in our admission requirements. Our goal is provide participants with an opportunity to learn new skills and habits of mind for long-term sobriety.
At Prana’s Relapse Prevention Program, group and individual skills for living substance free are facilitated by trained professionals along with the support of peers who aspire toward the same common goal of living joyfully in recovery.

- Steps one through three of AA’s Big Book
- Mindfulness & Stress Reduction
- Relapse Prevention Skill Building
- Exercise & Nutrition
The Relapse Prevention Program provides participants with resources on recurrence prevention, spiritual awakening, community connections, & overall wellbeing. Along with educational material, the program will offer participants a chance to learn mindfulness, stress reduction skills, yoga, healthy connections with others and self-care.
The goal of the program is to prevent recurrence and learn the skills to live happily substance free.
Other events occur during the week scheduled by each participant based on individual need including individual counseling, yoga and exercise classes, and community support meetings.
Hours: The Relapse Prevention Program meets Monday & Wednesday evenings from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM in Marlborough, MA.
Admission Criteria for the Relapse Prevention Program
All of the following criteria are necessary for admission:
- The participant has admitted to a substance use problem
- Has been substance free over the last 14 days
- Completes an application & interview
Exclusionary Criteria: Any of the following criteria is sufficient for exclusion:
- The participant has medical conditions or impairments that would prevent utilization of services
- The participant requires a level of structure and supervision beyond the scope of the program

We will not turn anyone away because of an inability to pay
Prana Recovery Centers’ Relapse Prevention Program also offers education and support for family members and loved ones of the person with a substance use disorder.
