Kelly McCausland brings dedication, compassion, commitment, executive experience, heart and soul to Prana Recovery Centers. She is laser-focused on approaching relapse prevention by integrating holistic approaches customized to match each individual’s needs.
Kelly has transformed her own suffering from substance use disorder to deep compassion for those who still suffer. She has depth of knowledge in dealing with the traditional trajectory of detox, residential treatment and then a sober or half-way house. She also has the energy and determination to fulfill her vision of many paths to recovery.
Kelly is a certified 500-hour yoga teacher who specializes in integrating meditation, yoga, and the 12 steps of recovery. Having practiced yoga and meditation for decades, she has first-hand experience with the healing and neurological rewiring that happens when these practices are integrated as a way of life. Kelly has trained with many renowned teachers including Baron Baptiste, Ana Forrest, and Rolf Gates. She has also completed trainings with the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and is a student of Culadasa and Shinzen Young.
Prior to founding Prana Recovery Center, Kelly was a director of human resources for over twenty years. She has extensive experience in labor relations, human resources technology, recruitment & retention strategies, and developing policies and procedures. She worked in the public sector with as many as 700 employees and eight unions.
