Frank Chiaravalloti is Director of Development for the Prana Recovery Center. Frank began his career in broadcasting, but soon became a volunteer and then Executive Director for the local United Way. He was Director of the Boston Edison Foundation, where he developed a philanthropic strategy and administered a $1.5M annual giving budget. Frank was engaged to organize Save One Life, a nonprofit established to support children with hemophilia living in underdeveloped countries.
During his career Frank successfully repositioned two electric utilities facing bankruptcy and significant image problems. He regained the confidence of customers and investors by increasing sales and stock value for a Lasik pioneer. He also developed operations and communications protocols to support disaster response and recovery efforts and has personally managed crisis communications during and after hurricanes, floods and the “Perfect Storm” of 1991. Frank owned and operated Public Image Corporation, a full-service marketing and public relations firm, and represented notable medical device manufacturers.
Frank’s formal education includes: A Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications (cum laude) from the University of Hartford and Certification in Business Management from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
